- Tap on the Windows Icon on the display, or Keyboard.
- Tap on the Settings Icon.
- Next, tap on Personalization.
- Scroll down a bit and tap on Taskbar.
- Under Taskbar Items, toggle off Widgets.

- Press Windows+R to open Run, and then type Powershell in the text box.
- When UAC asks for permission to open it, click Yes to give permission.
- Next, once PowerShell has been opened, type in
Get-AppxPackage
which reveals all installed apps (both system & installed). - Find the Weather app from the list.
- Now type and execute
Get-AppxPackage bingweather | Remove-AppxPackage
to remove it.
